Stoller Family Estate 2018 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

$37.99

Blackberry, bramble and baking spice appear in a dark, earthy profile. Fine-grained tannins and vibrant red fruit carry through the finish. Fruit came from selected Willamette Valley sites and several Pinot Noir clones. The wine aged for almost a year, with fifteen percent new oak and the remainder in neutral barrels. The growing season brought a warm, dry summer and a cool September that allowed extended ripening.

About Stoller Family Estate
Bill Stoller’s father and uncle bought the family’s Oregon farm in 1943. Bill acquired it in 1993 and planted the first twenty acres two years later, split equally between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Those varieties still lead the estate’s 225 planted acres in the Dundee Hills. The vineyard and winery are LIVE certified, with environmental work that includes solar power and the protection of native oak habitat. A gravity-flow winery is part of the estate’s design.
