Blackberry and blueberry aromas meet cut flowers. Full body sits with firm, lightly chewy tannins, while mineral and hot-stone undertones accompany brightness and energy. The blend is ninety-seven percent Sangiovese and three percent Canaiolo. Fermentation and maceration last about eighteen to twenty days in cement and stainless steel, followed by sixteen to twenty months in French oak and about six months in bottle.
