Golden orange in colour, with dark fruit, citrus peel and aromatic herbs leading the nose. The palate begins with rounded sweetness before bitter orange, quinine and warm spice bring firmer definition. The finish is long, herbal and distinctly bitter, making this a versatile bridge between sweet vermouth and amaro. Serve chilled over ice with orange, lengthen with soda, or use in a Manhattan, Negroni or Boulevardier when a more assertive bitter edge is wanted.
