Subtle vanilla, cedar and steeped prune open slowly, leading into dried black cherry, mocha, liquorice and star anise. The palate is dense and full-bodied, its concentrated fruit framed by close-grained tannins. Warmth builds without losing shape, carrying dark fruit and savoury spice through a long, composed finish.

About Mamete Prevostini
The Prevostini family’s wine story began in Mese, where Mamete’s grandparents made wine and local food for travellers early in the twentieth century. Mamete began releasing wines under his own name in 1995.
His Valtellina Nebbiolo comes from steep Alpine terraces supported by dry-stone walls, with most grapes harvested by hand. In Postalesio, a three-level gravity-flow cellar places grape drying and crushing, fermentation, and maturation on separate floors.
