This is a still red wine. Fruit is joined by spice, toast and grilled notes. The wine has good volume and supple tannins. Grapes were harvested by hand, and vinification used concrete and stainless-steel tanks. Merlot accounts for eighty-five percent of the planting, with fourteen percent Cabernet Franc. Ageing took place in tank, and production totalled fifty-five thousand bottles.
