Dried fruit and butterscotch open the nose, with baked apple, chocolate and smooth oak adding depth. Sweet raisin and sultana build across the palate alongside cinnamon, nutmeg and creamy vanilla. Maturation in sherry-seasoned American and European oak creates a warm, balanced style, while the finish is medium in length with lingering oak and spice. Serve neat.

About The Macallan
The Macallan’s licensed history began in 1824 at Easter Elchies, its estate above the River Spey. Oak preparation is central to its whisky-making, beginning with wood selected at source and casks made and seasoned to the distillery’s specifications. American and European oak casks are seasoned with sherry in Jerez before being filled with whisky. The Macallan describes a journey of roughly six years from tree to finished cask—before the whisky’s own ageing begins.
