Wine
Benanti 2023 Etna Bianco
Grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, this wine is basically liquid lava rock in the best way: cool, crisp, and quietly powerful. Benanti Etna Bianco is all about minerality and finesse, with zesty citrus, green apple, and a hint of wild herbs swirling together like an ocean breeze through mountain air. The palate is lean but textured, with a savoury, smoky edge that lingers long after your last sip. It’s elegant, electric, and unmistakably Etna.
Lopez De Heredia 2008/09 Vina Bosconia
Elegant and traditional, with aromas of red cherry, dried strawberry and plum layered with leather, cedar, tobacco and sweet spice. The palate is supple yet structured, showing resolved tannins, bright acidity and a savoury core that carries through to a long, earthy finish. Subtle oxidative nuances and tertiary complexity reflect extended ageing in old oak, delivering a classic, time-worn expression of Rioja with finesse and depth.
