Deep garnet and ruby colour accompanies chocolate, cherry and plum aromas. The palate is medium-bodied, with vanilla and cherry flavours, a silky mouthfeel and a long finish. Bright tawny and orange tones may also appear with dried fruit, sultanas and bitter chocolate. Balanced sweetness and acidity are joined by maple syrup, leather and cigar box in this mature Vintage Port.
