Yellow Rose Distilling

Visits to American distilleries inspired Troy Smith to start Yellow Rose Distilling in Houston in 2010. Federal and state licences followed in 2012, with Outlaw Bourbon the distillery’s first development project.

For Harris County bourbon, the distillery uses Texas-grown grains and pot distillation in Houston. Its rye whiskey follows a different route: made with 95% rye, it is selected, blended and bottled in Texas.
