Xavier Vignon

Xavier Vignon settled in the Southern Rhône in 1996 after scientific training and a decade of work in French wine regions and harvests in both hemispheres. He first worked as a consultant to growers across the valley, then began making his own wines after friends challenged him to show what its vineyards could offer.

Working with a small circle of growers, he made blending central to his wines, combining varieties and vineyard parcels and, in some releases, different vintages. He later added roughly thirty hectares of his own vines in the Dentelles de Montmirail.
