Wesbert Winery 2022 Gewürztraminer

This white comes from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. The winery sits on the Naramata Bench outside Penticton and works with two vineyards. Its minimal-intervention approach is intended to let fruit and each growing season speak for themselves. The property grows several varieties, including Gewürztraminer, and aims for balanced, full-flavoured wines. The site is near the Kettle Valley Rail Trail.

The wine is light and refreshing.

Grassy and citrus aromas accompany lemon and lime flavours, with a crisply dry finish. The white combines sixty percent Sémillon and forty percent Sauvignon Blanc. The varieties are co-fermented. Fresh green apple and gooseberry add to the profile. The wine comes from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. The winery purchased a 4.3-acre Naramata Bench vineyard planted with both varieties.
