Vivezza Vineyard

Pear, honey, apple blossom and lemon zest appear alongside floral notes. Bright acidity, a long clean finish and stone-fruit character are also present. Thirty-year-old vines grow on slopes overlooking Victoria. Whole clusters are pressed, fermentation takes place in stainless steel, and the wine is lightly filtered and gently sulphited at the family’s Salt Spring Island winery.

Salted citrus and tropical fruit appear with a vibrant balance of fruit and minerality. The white grape is one of the disease-resistant varieties selected for British Columbia’s coastal climate. The winery is family-owned and operated on Salt Spring Island, where its estate vineyard was established after more than two decades of research into varieties suited to the region.
