Vignerons de Buxy
Vignerons de Buxy
Vignerons de Buxy 2019 Buissonnier Montagny
French White
Made from Chardonnay in the village appellation of Montagny, this Burgundy is ripe, balanced and harmonious. Its fruit comes from selected parcels chosen to express the identity of the appellation. Across the producer’s Côte Chalonnaise range, Montagny is associated with mineral character and Chardonnay with richness. The wine is a still white expression within this range.
Vignerons de Buxy 2018 Buissonnier Pinot Noir Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise
French Red
Red fruit, light tannins and smoky character give this Pinot Noir a soft yet structured profile. The vineyards lie between Buxy and Saint-Gengoux-le-National on shallow, ventilated limestone soils with pebbles and east-to-southeast-facing slopes. The wine ages first in stainless steel, then in oak barrels or casks. Its balance and supple texture suit grilled meats, lamb, duck or firm cheeses.
