Vazisubani Estate 2020 Kisi Qvevri
Apricot, dried fruit and roasted nuts define this dry amber wine. Estate-grown Kisi is hand-picked and partly destemmed, then fermented spontaneously with native yeast in qvevri. Skin contact lasts six months; the profile is full-bodied, supple and rich in fine tannins. The wine is unfiltered, with bentonite as the only fining material, and records 12.5 percent alcohol.
Vazisubani Estate 2020 Saperavi Qvevri
Ripe cherry, mulberry and blackberry open, followed by pomegranate, liquorice and dark spice. The palate is full and savoury, with concentrated fruit balanced by bright acidity and firm, well-shaped tannins. Cocoa, balsamic tones and a restrained earthy note add depth through the middle. Structured without feeling heavy, it finishes long with dark fruit, spice and a measured bitter edge.
