The Antinori family founded Tormaresca in Puglia in 1998, focusing on regional grapes including Negroamaro, Primitivo and Fiano Pugliese. Its vineyards span inland limestone country and the warmer, sea-influenced areas of Salento and Manduria. At Masseria Maime, near the Adriatic, vines grow among woods and olive groves.

Bright pink-red colour accompanies pink grapefruit, juicy cherries and raspberries, with a faint Muscat-like note. The palate is juicy, fruity and fresh. Made from Negroamaro in Salento, the rosé carries twelve percent alcohol. Before bottling, it rests in stainless steel with its lees. Floral notes of rosehip and wisteria appear with tamarind and a saline mineral character.
