AboutTinhorn Creek Vineyards
The Shaunessy and Oldfield families began planting Tinhorn Creek in British Columbia’s South Okanagan in 1993. Its vineyards lie on opposite sides of the valley: the 50-acre Tinhorn Creek site on the Golden Mile and the 100-acre Diamondback site on Black Sage. Their soils and exposures differ, with morning and afternoon light falling differently across the two properties.
Winemaker Leandro Nosal brings training in agricultural engineering and viticulture from Mendoza and Europe, along with cellar experience in France and New Zealand. The winery is a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing British Columbia.
Tinhorn Creek 2023 Pinot Gris
Bright apple, white peach and fresh citrus give this crisp, clean white an immediately inviting profile. Sun-ripened orchard fruit brings gentle breadth, while zesty acidity keeps the palate focused and refreshing. Flavourful without becoming heavy, it finishes with clear fruit and brisk lift, well suited to seafood, roast poultry or fresh cheeses.
