Tin Whistle opened in Penticton in 1995, taking its name from the first locomotive on the Kettle Valley Railway. Alexis Esseltine and Tim Scoon bought the brewery in 2020 and run it as a family business.
Its home in the Cannery Trade Centre brings a working brewhouse and taproom together, with an ever-changing selection of experimental beers. Regional ingredients and the reuse of brewing by-products are part of its work to reduce waste.
