AboutTherapy Vineyards and Inn
Therapy is a family-run winery and inn on British Columbia’s Naramata Bench, with guest accommodation among the vineyards. Mike Boyd bought the property in 2017, bringing the vineyard, cellar, tasting room and inn together under family management. New Zealand winemaker Jacq Kemp brought international cellar experience to the wines. The range includes table wines, sparkling wines and fortified bottlings, with names inspired by psychology.
Therapy Freudified Port Style
Canadian Dessert
Flowers, raspberry and strawberry open this fortified red, joined by white pepper, raisin and vanilla. The palate is sweet, warming and full, with Syrah spice set against Merlot softness and ripe berry fruit. A clear spirit warmth shapes the finish, making it a suitable match for dark chocolate, blue cheese or nut-based desserts.
Therapy Vineyards 2019 Super Ego
Canadian Red
Tobacco and smoke open with baked cherry, blackberry and plum, followed by vanilla, mocha and measured oak. The palate is full and balanced, with firm, well-shaped tannins framing the ripe fruit. Earthy and herbal notes add savoury depth, carrying the wine into a warming, persistent finish with mature complexity.
