AboutThe Standish Wine Company
Dan Standish founded his Barossa wine company in 1999, drawing on his experience as a grower and winemaker. Based at Light Pass, he works with old, low-yielding Shiraz vineyards across the Barossa and nearby Eden Valley. The principal wines are bottled by vineyard, with sites in Greenock, Krondorf, Marananga, Bethany and Eden Valley.

Australian Red
Ripe blueberry and blackberry meet apricot, white flowers, vanilla bean and warm spice. The palate is full-bodied and lush, yet the fruit remains controlled by freshness and a fine savoury edge. Silky, silty tannins build in layers around a juicy core, with a subtle grilled-meat note adding depth. The finish is long, perfumed and persistent, balancing richness with precision rather than excess.
