Amber and gently full in appearance, with dried-fruit sweetness and a faint smoky accent on the nose. The palate begins youthful and lively, then settles into a rounded, mellow texture built from malt and grain whisky. Subtle oak and a measured spice note add definition through the finish, which lingers lightly on the tongue. Serve neat, over a single cube, or lengthened with chilled soda in a clean highball.
