Dark chocolate, treacle and heather honey open the nose, with cinnamon, espresso and sticky raisin adding depth. The palate is full-bodied and balanced, bringing marzipan and orchard fruit together with mocha, butterscotch and grated nutmeg. Sweet spice and dark roasted coffee give the whisky richness, while the fruit keeps the profile composed and lifted. The finish is warming and persistent, carrying cocoa, toffee and gentle oak spice. Serve neat or add a small splash of water.
