Bob and Senka Tennant founded Terravista on the Naramata Bench, planting Albariño and Verdejo at Lone Hand Ranch in 2008. Eric and Dallas Thor took over in 2019, continuing that focus while developing additional vineyards and small-lot wines. Okanagan Lake moderates the climate of the Naramata vineyards, where the work includes tending the vine canopy by hand.

The palate is fresh yet richly textured, with the blend’s naturally oily character kept lively and well defined. Roussanne and Marsanne bring breadth while Viognier adds aromatic lift, carrying the wine through a persistent, savoury finish.

Grapefruit, blossom and stone fruit define the pronounced aroma. The palate is crisp and fresh, with a touch of residual sugar through the mid-palate balanced by acidity. Fruit from the Gold Digger and Boulders blocks was hand harvested, whole-cluster pressed and fermented separately for eighteen days at cool temperatures. The lots were aged in steel before blending.

Nectarine opens the profile with delicate stone-fruit and floral notes. Ripe melon and fresh citrus accompany a textured, medium-bodied palate, while key lime gives the finish a dry, tart edge. The Verdejo was hand-picked in two lots, twenty days apart, then whole-cluster pressed. Fermentation used stainless steel and twenty-eight percent concrete. Lees ageing lasted five months, and alcohol is 13.4 percent.

Ripe stone fruit, orange peel and lemon meringue accompany lemon and grapefruit with a silky mineral texture. Refreshing acidity and salinity sit beside weight from the lees and a medium-plus finish. Albariño from certified-sustainable Grand Island Vineyard was hand-picked on September 3, whole-cluster pressed, settled and cooled on site. The free-run juice fermented partly in concrete egg and partly in stainless steel.

Raspberry and redcurrant appear with earthy undertones, ripe red fruit, dried herbs and spice. The wine is medium to full-bodied, with firm tannins, freshness and a long finish. Fruit was hand-picked from Rock Oven Vineyard, then destemmed, fermented for two weeks in a large oak barrique, held for a further week after fermentation and aged seventeen months in French oak.
