AboutTequila Cascahuín

Cascahuín is the Rosales family’s distillery in El Arenal, in Jalisco’s Tequila Valley. Its roots go back to 1904, while the present distillery was established by Salvador Rosales Briseño in 1955. It remains in family hands three generations later.

The team works with mature blue Weber agave and cooks it in masonry ovens. Some of its tequilas use a tahona, a stone wheel that crushes the cooked agave.

Tequila Cascahuin Tahona Blanco

Mexican Tequila & Mezcal
$174.99
Fresh agave and green herbs open with a clean, savoury lift. The palate is rounded and substantial, showing baked agave, dry minerality and a restrained honeyed sweetness. Citrus and floral notes brighten the middle, while a grassy edge keeps the spirit focused. The finish is long, crisp and mineral, with the agave remaining clear throughout. Serve neat or in a spirit-forward Margarita.

Tequila Cascahuin Plata 48 Blanco

Mexican Tequila & Mezcal
$141.99
Cooked agave leads with mint, cilantro and fresh herbs, followed by pepper and a clear mineral edge. The palate is concentrated and full, balancing agave sweetness with salinity and savoury notes of baked bread, thyme and walnut. Cardamom and a touch of underripe banana add complexity without softening the dry-land character. The finish is weighty, peppery and persistent. Serve neat.

Wild Common Still Strength Blanco Tequila

Mexican Tequila & Mezcal
$258.99
Bold roasted agave drives the nose and palate, lifted by bright citrus and a clear mineral edge. Cinnamon and anise add warmth and detail without crowding the spirit's clean core. Bottled at still strength, the texture is full and velvety, yet the profile remains precise rather than heavy. A long, warming finish returns to agave, citrus and spice. Excellent neat, with enough structure for a serious tequila cocktail.
