Talenti

Pierluigi Talenti moved from Romagna to Montalcino in the 1950s and later acquired the property that became the family’s wine estate. The domaine was formally established in 1980 and developed through Pierluigi’s work with local Sangiovese selections. Riccardo Talenti assumed direction in 1999 and represents the current family generation at the estate.

The property includes Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino vineyards together with separate experimental and regional holdings. Sangiovese is central, while exact parcel, oak and maturation decisions remain specific to each wine and vintage. Talenti’s current estate joins Pierluigi’s Montalcino work, Riccardo’s leadership and Sangiovese vineyards for Brunello and Rosso.
