AboutSynchromesh
Alan and Amy Dickinson began searching for a vineyard site in 2009 and bought a five-acre Okanagan Falls property in spring 2010. Alan’s parents, John and Kirsty, joined soon afterwards, and the family business now includes a third generation through Nigel Dickinson. A neighbouring acquisition in 2017 expanded the property to 107 acres.
Riesling and Cabernet Franc are the focus, with wines drawn from individual Okanagan vineyard blocks. Farming avoids synthetic inputs, while the cellar uses natural fermentation and minimal handling.
Synchromesh 2023 Riesling Thorny Vines
A dry, tightly structured Riesling with more palate weight than the producer’s other vineyard bottlings, balanced by a long, linear line of acidity. The north-facing site, set in slightly richer loamy soils about a third of the way up the Naramata Bench, gives the wine breadth without sacrificing its focused, cool-toned drive.
Synchromesh 2025 Storm Haven Vineyard Gibson-Block 3 Blue Label Riesling
Mango, candied ginger and fleshy ripe peach lead a concentrated, highly aromatic Riesling. The palate is rich and viscous but never heavy, driven by intense, complex acidity and a fine mineral thread from decomposed granite and sandy gravel soils. Dried apricot carries into an exceptionally long, seamless off-dry finish. Serve with spicy dishes, blue cheese or fruit-led desserts.
Synchromesh 2022 Storm Haven Riesling Dry
Pear, apple blossom and honeysuckle form a quiet aromatic opening, joined by wet slate. The palate is highly mineral, with mango flesh bringing a lusher fruit note against substantial acidity. Bright structure and approachable fruit remain in clear tension, while the close stays tightly wound. Floral, orchard-fruit and slate notes give way to a precise, mineral finish.
Synchromesh 2019 Drier Riesling
Cold cream, lime pulp, green apple and orange blossom sit above stone and citrus-pith notes. Tight, edgy acidity balances 27 grams per litre of residual sugar, keeping the profile comparatively dry. The blend draws on later-picked Riesling from Okanagan Falls and Naramata. Its lively structure and citrus character make it suitable for a broad range of food pairings.
Synchromesh 2023 Storm Haven Vineyard Gold Digger Block Riesling
Lime and quince accompany pear-skin texture, linear lime acidity and a long, lean, dry finish. The Gold Digger block is named for metallic elements scattered through its gravelly soils, where they glimmer and reflect light toward the vines. The site also contains sandy loam, shattered slate and granite. Residual sugar is sixty-four grams per litre, while alcohol is 8.39 percent.
Synchromesh 2019 Storm Haven Vineyard Dry Riesling
Orange rind, mango, ripe peach and apple blossom lead, with honeysuckle adding floral lift. The palate is intense and textural, balancing concentrated sweet fruit with firm acidity and chalky mineral character. Serve chilled with spicy seafood, glazed pork, aromatic curries or washed-rind cheese, or cellar further.
Synchromesh 2025 Riesling
Ripe pear, tropical fruit and apricot lead, with green apple, lime and a light honeyed note adding detail. The palate is off-dry and generous, its fruit sweetness held in balance by vivid acidity and a clean citrus line. A zippy, refreshing finish makes this Okanagan Riesling especially good with Thai curries, spicy noodles, pork or salty cheeses.
Synchromesh 2025 Storm Haven Vineyard Dry Riesling
Zesty lime, lemon peel and pink grapefruit lead a sleek, finely drawn palate. Racy acidity gives the citrus real momentum, while a light sherbet note softens the edges without tipping into sweetness. Dry, precise and energetic, it finishes on citrus pith with a firm, refreshing snap. Serve well chilled with oysters, ceviche or goat cheese.
Synchromesh 2022 Paddle Shift Riesling Spritzer 250 mL Can
Bright and lightly sparkling, with Riesling’s fresh citrus, green apple and a gentle touch of orchard fruit. Estate spring water keeps the palate breezy, while modest sweetness is balanced by lively acidity and clean, refreshing bubbles. Made for easygoing outdoor drinking, the compact can is a natural choice for picnics, patios, grilled seafood or a salty plate of snacks.
