Larry Gerelus and Linda Pruegger opened Stag’s Hollow in Okanagan Falls in 1995. Eric Liu took over in 2019, adding vineyard land and expanding the facilities.
A small team tends three estate vineyards by hand: Stag’s Hollow Estate, Shuttleworth Creek and Maple. Alongside Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling, the winery explores less common Okanagan plantings such as Albariño, Dolcetto, Teroldego and Tempranillo.

Canadian Red
Ripe black cherry, raspberry, violets, tea leaf, wet clay and vanilla appear with earthy, umami character. The palate is juicy, with a silky texture and a black-tea-spiced finish. Pinot Noir from Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard combines Dijon and Pommard clones. The vineyard is in Okanagan Falls, within the Okanagan Valley. The wine spent twelve months in 300-litre French oak barrels, sixteen percent of them new.
