AboutSt-Rémy

St-Rémy began in 1886, when Paul-Émile Rémy Martin II established a distillery in Machecoul in the Loire Valley after phylloxera damaged the vineyards of Charente. Fine St-Rémy followed in 1917, and the house’s VSOP was introduced in 1980.

Its French brandies draw on red and white grapes from several regions, with the wines distilled in continuous copper columns. After ageing in 350-litre French-oak barrels, the spirits are assembled by the master blender.

French Brandy
$20.99
Apricot, peach, gooseberry and wild strawberry lead, followed by delicate florals, vanilla and polished wood. The palate is balanced and harmonious, carrying the fruit into a smooth, lightly rounded texture before a generous vanilla finish. Its freshness keeps the oak measured rather than heavy. Enjoy it neat or over ice, or use it in a long drink with soda, a French-style highball or a fruit-led sangria.
