AboutSmall Gods Brewing Co. x Four Winds Brewing

Before co-founding their respective breweries, Small Gods and Four Winds, Chris Bjerrisgaard and Brent Mills helped organise Vancouver Craft Beer Week’s first Collaboration Brew Day in 2011. About a dozen years later, the two teamed up again to make a buckwheat lager. Small Gods is a family-operated brewery in Sidney, while Four Winds is based in Delta on the Fraser River.

Small Gods Brewing Co. x Four Winds Brewing Season of Storms Buckwheat Lager

Canadian Beer
$5.49

Rustic buckwheat joins heritage Hana malt and Polish Lubelski hops in a crisp, grain-led lager. The malt brings a bready, continental character, while the hopping keeps the palate orderly and refreshing rather than overtly aromatic. A dry, clean line carries the savoury grain through the finish. Serve cold with roast pork, pierogi, grilled sausages, mushroom dumplings or aged alpine cheese.
