Its wines come from Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough, with James Hillard leading winemaking in Hawke’s Bay and Helen Morrison in Marlborough. Its environmental work includes renewable electricity and programmes to reduce waste, water use and emissions.

Raspberry, cherry and floral notes shape the profile. The palate is fresh and rounded, with subtle spice and a soft, long finish. Fruit comes from cooler Hawke’s Bay vineyard sites on gravel and clay soils. Fermentation takes place in closed-top stainless steel with gentle maceration and pump-overs, and a small proportion of the wine is matured in oak.
