AboutSerego Alighieri

In 1353, Pietro Alighieri, son of Dante, purchased land at Gargagnago in Valpolicella. His descendants have lived on the estate for twenty-two generations.

Set in Valpolicella Classica, the estate works with local red grapes and the region’s tradition of drying grapes for winemaking. The estate has worked with Masi since 1973. Its range also includes white wines.

Italian White
$21.99
Ripe pear and lifted aromatic notes open this dry, characterful white. Garganega supplies texture and a subtle almond twist, while Sauvignon Blanc brings freshness and definition. Bright acidity carries the fruit into a clean, balanced and gently savoury finish. Serve well chilled with seafood risotto, grilled fish, vegetable pasta, poultry or fresh and moderately aged cheeses.
