San Giusto a Rentennano

Bright red cherry, red plum, mint, cedar, tobacco, game, liquorice and rose petal shape a mid-weight profile. Acidity is bright, and the wine is fresh and concentrated. The blend is ninety-five percent Sangiovese and five percent Canaiolo. Oak ageing lasts eleven months, while analysis records 14.5 percent alcohol, less than one gram per litre of sugar and 5.35 grams per litre of acidity.

Silky and gracious, with dark cherry and plum framed by lifted floral notes and fine spice. The palate is ample and creamy without losing precision, its ripe fruit carried by fresh acidity and polished tannins. Savoury earth and a subtle mineral note add depth through the middle. The finish is long and refined, returning to red fruit, florals and measured spice with composed persistence.
