AboutRoses de Jeanne / Cédric Bouchard
Cédric Bouchard founded Roses de Jeanne in 2000 with a small holding of family vines around Celles-sur-Ource, in southern Champagne. His Champagnes each come from one vineyard, one grape variety and one harvest, with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc kept separate.
He farms organically, keeping yields low and choosing the picking time for each parcel. Only the first pressing is used, fermentation begins with naturally occurring yeasts, and the second fermentation is long, slow and cool. The wines receive no sweetening dosage.

Fine bubbles carry citrus, red apple and pear, with plum skin and strawberry adding a subtle red-fruit accent. Blossom and chalk bring lift, while almond, nougat and fresh pastry build gentle richness. The palate is taut and energetic, its high acidity balanced by a creamy mousse and measured roundness. Mineral tension runs through a long, dry finish marked by lime, toast and a quiet saline edge.
