Gold colour accompanies honeysuckle, white blossom and honeyed orchard fruit, together with apple and white flowers. The medium-bodied wine has finesse, tangy acidity, chalky minerality, lemon curd and crushed citrus, with a long mineral finish. Chardonnay fruit comes from Anderson Valley in California. Bosc pear, red apple, stone, honeycomb and baker's yeast add further detail.

Apple, pear and passion fruit emerge gradually from a reserved nose, joined by citrus blossom, fresh nutmeg and fine mineral detail. The palate opens with succulent fruit and a gentle touch of refined vanilla oak, then tightens into a chiseled, balanced close. Poised acidity keeps the Chardonnay precise and quietly energetic.
