Reyka is distilled in Borgarnes, a small coastal town in western Iceland. The distillery uses grain spirit and glacial spring water that flows through a lava field. The spirit is distilled in copper Carter-Head stills, then filtered through Icelandic lava rock. A run takes about five hours and yields roughly 330 cases, with geothermal energy powering the distillery.

Clean and mineral-led, with a delicate hint of creamy vanilla and natural sweetness on the nose. The palate is soft and lightly rounded, bringing subtle citrus zest, fennel, aniseed and white pepper into a crisp, composed frame. Icelandic lava-rock filtration contributes clarity without stripping away all texture, while the finish remains clean, gently spiced and persistent. Serve well chilled, in a Martini with a lemon twist, or with soda where the mineral and citrus notes can remain distinct.
