Raimat began in 1914, when Manuel Raventós i Domènech acquired an arid property west of Lleida and set about turning it into a working agricultural estate. Water brought from the Pyrenees made cultivation possible, while the inland climate brings hot days, cold winters and marked temperature swings. The vineyards are farmed organically, and the estate makes a broad range of wines in Costers del Segre.

White peach, star fruit and apricot fill a juicy, fresh palate. A pithy tangerine twist sharpens the finish, keeping the ripe fruit lively and clean. Mostly stainless-steel fermentation preserves clarity, while a small portion rested in wood with regular lees stirring for added texture. Bright, uncomplicated and versatile, it works especially well with fragrant curries, grilled prawns or citrus-dressed salads.
