AboutQuinta de Santiago

Quinta de Santiago has been in the Santiago family since 1899, when Mariazinha inherited the Monção property. For much of its history the farm sold grapes rather than bottling wine, until the family launched its own project in 2009. Fourth-generation Joana Santiago leads the project with her family, working with their own grapes from 7.5 hectares in Monção e Melgaço. Alvarinho is the focus, with a light touch in the cellar.
