Quinta da Costa do Pinhão

Rock rose, plum, wild blueberry, violet and cassis define the fruit and floral profile. Fine, tight tannins lead to a salty, lingering finish. The blend draws equally from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz grown in Pinhão at three hundred to four hundred and fifty metres. Native fermentation uses schist lagares with foot treading and stainless steel, followed by twelve months in French oak.
