AboutPràban na Linne

Pràban na Linne was founded on the Isle of Skye in 1976 by Sir Iain Noble, who saw whisky as part of a wider effort to create local opportunity and strengthen Gaelic life in the Hebrides. The blender and bottler is based beside the old stone pier at Eilean Iarmain on the Sleat peninsula. Its name evokes a small smuggling enterprise on the Sound of Sleat. Gaelic language and island culture also run through its whisky names: Tè Bheag, Poit Dhubh and MacNaMara.

MacNaMara Rum Finish Blended Scotch Whisky

Scottish Whisky
$79.99

Freshness defines the opening, followed by a soft and measured rum-cask sweetness. A year in Guyanese rum casks follows the initial bourbon-cask maturation, adding another dimension to the whisky. The palate is smooth with a light touch of oiliness. Its calm finish gathers that freshness, smooth texture and gentle rum sweetness into a neat, softly rounded final impression.
