AboutPoderi Colla

Beppe Colla founded Poderi Colla in 1994 with his brother Tino and daughter Federica. He had led Prunotto from 1956 to 1993 and was an early advocate of naming individual vineyards on wine labels. Tino’s son Pietro later joined the family business.

The family farms Cascine Drago, Tenuta Roncaglia, Dardi le Rose and Bricco Bompè, growing Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and other regional varieties. A family recipe for Moscato-based aromatised wine dates to the late nineteenth century and remains part of the range.

Poderi Colla Bonmè Moscato Vermouth

Italian Fortified
$103.99
Orange blossom and fresh citrus lead an expressive aroma, followed by pineapple, alpine herbs and soft baking spice. The palate is generous and aromatic, with natural Moscato sweetness balanced by wormwood, gentian and citrus-peel bitterness. A floral lift keeps the rich texture lively, while the herbal core grows more savoury toward the finish. Serve chilled as an aperitif, or slightly warmer with dark chocolate, blue cheese or herb-seasoned nuts.
