Three Japanese brewer friends shaped Super Ultra Hypertron across three British Columbia breweries: Sho at Mountainview, Daisuke at Strange Fellows and Hiroshi at Parallel 49. Inspired by gari ginger, they brewed the sour ale to accompany Japanese seafood. They used sake yeast for aromas of melon, pear and apple, alongside the earthy spice of ginger.
