AboutOkanagan Spirits Craft Distillery

Founded in 2004, Okanagan Spirits began by distilling sound local fruit that might otherwise have been discarded. The family-run British Columbia distillery later added locally grown barley, rye, wheat and corn. A second location opened in Kelowna in 2011, while a larger Vernon facility followed in 2015.

Fermentation and distillation take place on site, without artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. Custom copper pot stills are used for a range that includes fruit spirits, liqueurs, gin, aquavit and whisky.

Okanagan Spirits Aquavitus Aquavit

Canadian Spirits
$56.99
Caraway and dill lead with a clear, savoury lift, joined by anise, fennel, coriander and juniper. The botanical profile is bright and aromatic, with a clean spirit base carrying the herbs and spices without heaviness. Serve well chilled and neat in a small glass, or use it to sharpen a dry, herb-led cocktail. Traditional pairings include pickled herring, smoked salmon and roast meats, where the spice remains precise and refreshing.

Okanagan Spirits BRBN Family Reserve Bourbon-Style Canadian Whisky

Canadian Whisky
$99.99
Caramel, plum and vanilla lead the nose, followed by a rounded palate of honeycomb, warm spice and ripe banana. Fruity malt character adds lift, while American oak brings structure and a long, gently sweet finish. Made from locally grown grain corn and shaped in copper pot stills, this is a distinctly Canadian take on a bourbon-inspired style rather than an American bourbon. Serve neat, over a large cube or in an Old Fashioned where its oak and corn sweetness can stay in focus.

Okanagan Spirits Final Proof BLK BRBN Cask Strength Bourbon-Style Canadian Whisky

Canadian Whisky
$149.99
Dark chocolate, glazed cherry and ripe fig lead a concentrated nose, with caramel and vanilla adding sweetness. The palate is full and powerful, layering chocolate-malted grain with toasted oak and dark fruit. Cask strength gives the whisky weight, but the ripe fruit and caramel keep it composed rather than blunt. The finish is long and evolving, carrying cocoa, cherry, vanilla and deep oak. Serve neat first, then add a few drops of water to open the sweeter notes.
