Noosh Gin was founded by Samira Saadatian, who was born in Iran and made Canada her home in 2010. She launched the project in 2024, drawing on Persian hospitality and the aromas that accompanied family gatherings. Its saffron gin uses saffron from Marand and is distilled in small batches in copper-pot stills.

Persian saffron gives this small-batch gin a golden hue and a subtle blend of earthy sweetness and floral lift. Crisp juniper provides the foundation, with angelica root adding depth before orange peel, cardamom and coriander bring bright citrus, warm spice and a gently peppery edge. Copper-pot distillation keeps the botanicals layered and clear, allowing the saffron to remain distinctive without overwhelming the classic gin structure. Serve with tonic and an orange twist, or use in a Negroni where its saffron and cardamom character can come forward.
