Mountainview Brewing Company opened in Hope in 2020, when local-born owners Adam and Danielle Keil turned a former machine shop into a brewery for their hometown. They brew with fresh mountain water and created a family-friendly taproom for local residents and travellers. A kitchen sits alongside the brewery, which offers growler fills and limited releases.

Light, effervescent and notably dry, this gently soured beer places vivid cranberry at the centre. Belgian yeast builds a softly fruity foundation, while elderflower adds a delicate floral lift through the finish. The result is bright and focused rather than sweet. Serve cold with goat cheese, roast turkey, charcuterie, winter salads, fried chicken or cranberry-glazed pork.
