AboutMiller Brewing Company
Frederick Miller established his brewery in Milwaukee in 1855, bringing with him a brewer’s education and a distinctive yeast from Germany. Miller High Life arrived in 1903 as the company’s flagship, developed for the growing popularity of bottled beer. Its Girl in the Moon emblem was first trademarked in 1907.
Miller developed light-stable Galena hops for High Life to help protect the beer from the effects of light through its clear bottle. Miller Brewing Company is now part of Molson Coors.
Miller High Life Lager Single Can
Citrus, malt and cereal grain lead a clean, lightly aromatic nose, with a subtle toasted-nut note adding depth. The palate is pale, light-bodied and easy-drinking, bringing gentle fig and red-apple flavours over a crisp grain core. Soft malt sweetness is balanced by restrained hop bitterness. The finish is brisk, dry and refreshingly clean. Serve well chilled with fried fish or spicy tacos.
