Red and blue fruit appear in a full-flavoured, lively profile with freshness and fullness. Cabernet Franc and Merlot form the blend. Thirty percent matures in two-year-old French oak, while seventy percent rests in neutral French oak. Barrel maturation lasts twelve months. Fining is used, while filtration is not. The fruit comes from Cawston in the Similkameen Valley.

Blueberry and blackberry appear with black licorice and hazelnut wafer. The palate has broad tannins, gentle acidity and a long, slowly fading finish. Production totalled one hundred cases from six barrels. The wine spent twelve months in neutral French oak. Tempranillo from Cawston in British Columbia’s Similkameen Valley reaches fourteen and a half percent alcohol. The profile is bold and structured.
