Peach and vanilla custard open with treacle toffee, heather honey and sweet peat smoke. The palate is rich but balanced, carrying mocha, nutmeg and warm spice through a rounded malty texture. Peated and unpeated malts bring smoke without muting the fruit. The finish is long and warming, leaving maple, toffee, struck match and a measured smoky echo.
