Lonetree Cider Company is Canadian-owned and makes cider with fruit from domestic orchards. Its beginnings lie in a relationship with third-generation orchardists in Kelowna, whose family continues to supply apples. Its British Columbia cider uses British Columbia apples, while its Ontario production uses Ontario fruit.
The apples are crushed and fermented, then the cider is filtered clear. The Authentic Dry cider combines varieties such as Belle de Boskoop and Bramley with McIntosh, Spartan and Golden Delicious.
