AboutLoch Lomond Distillery
Loch Lomond Distillery began production in Alexandria in 1966 under Duncan Thomas and Barton Brands. The plant closed in 1984, then passed through Inver House to Glen Catrine before returning to production.
Straight-neck and traditional swan-neck pot stills, together with peated and unpeated malt, give the distillery several ways to shape its spirit. A 92-hour fermentation is used with the aim of developing fruity character. The site also produces grain whisky and has its own coopers to work on the casks.
Harleston Green Blended Scotch Whisky
Dried apricot, almond and heather open an accessible but layered blend, with honey, toffee and orange zest adding warmth. Unpeated malts from several Scottish regions meet selected grain whiskies, giving the palate a balanced mix of vanilla, malt and sweet spice. Burnt orange and almond return through the middle while the texture remains full and smooth. A rich, lingering finish carries malt, gentle spice, toffee and citrus. Enjoy neat, over ice or with a little water.
Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Crisp green apple, ripe pear and fresh lemon open the nose, with golden cereal adding a gentle savoury note. The palate is fruit-led and balanced, layering orchard fruit and citrus with vanilla meringue and light biscuit sweetness. Maturation across bourbon, refill and re-charred American oak casks gives the whisky a rounded frame, while a measured thread of wood smoke carries through the medium, lightly tangy finish. Serve neat or with a few drops of water.
