Mas Doix

Mas Doix was founded in Poboleda in 1998 by Valentí and Ramon Llagostera, reviving a family winegrowing tradition that reaches back to the nineteenth century. The family’s Grenache and Carignan parcels include vines planted in 1902. Poboleda lies in a cooler corner of Priorat, with steep slate slopes and large differences between day and night temperatures.

The vineyards have been farmed organically since 2016, with biodynamic and permaculture practices. Grapes are harvested by hand, with selection in the vineyard and berry-by-berry sorting at the winery.
