AboutLa Primavera

Julio González built La Primavera distillery in the Jalisco Highlands in 1942, beginning the tequila-making story behind Don Julio. He placed particular importance on healthy, fully mature Blue Weber agave. To make Don Julio, the agave is cooked in masonry ovens, fermented with the house yeast and distilled twice; aged releases then spend time in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon.

Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Tequila

Mexican Tequila & Mezcal
$144.99

Fresh agave and citrus open with vanilla, caramel and a measured touch of toasted oak. The palate is clear and polished, balancing the crispness of a younger spirit with the rounded depth of extended barrel ageing. Charcoal filtration keeps the texture smooth and the flavours focused. The finish is clean and gently warming, leaving agave, vanilla, light oak and subtle sweetness.
